The Kallithea Baths
A spa with a distinctly European atmosphere, dating from the inter-war period, lakes and waterfalls, aqueducts concealed in the lush vegetation.
The Italians made good use of the island's rich sources of water and the impressive constructions they left behind still evoke the style and atmosphere of the period in which they were built. The centre is dominated by the Rotonda, with its massive vaulted roof and fine decoration. Here the waters of six healing springs issued from six fountains.
Nowadays the premises of Kallithea Baths have been fully restored.
You may relax in the calm waters of the picturesque bay or explore its fascinating underwater world by taking scuba-diving lessons.
